This hall was the closest to the athletic fields and thus popular with jocks. My freshman roommate was a sophomore, the starting center on the football team.

The administration was just beginning to look the other way with respect to electronic equipment in the room. We had hifi, tv, ham radio, refrigerator and model trains. We remotely installed a rotatable yagi antenna on the roof using ropes and a specially designed sled. When it needed service, we learned to pick locks and just went up the roof ladder.
